Even at the Benedetič homestead the sweet cherries are a very important fruit, so we set up a plantation some years ago, where the cherries ripen very early to mid-late.

BRIŠKA BELICA+

In the orchard, the olive trees of traditional varieties called “briška črnica” and 'drobnica' are planted, but also of variety 'istrska belica' and many others, of which few trees are older than 30 years.

Olive fruits and olive oils from Brda are very appreciated, because Brda region, as the most northern production area in Europe, gives to the oil a special chemical and sensorial character.

Home-produced olive oil positively surprises us with a quality every year making every effort and work worthwhile for the production of Brda olives.
